Our Drywall Installation Process

Seams are taped and coated, then built up in successive passes for a dead-flat plane. 3. Sanding to a true finish level. We sand to the finish level your project calls for — up to a Level 5 smooth surface for walls that will catch raking light. 4. Ready for finish. The surface is left primed-ready so your paint or plaster goes on clean.

What drywall finish level should I ask for?
It depends on the surface. Most walls look great at Level 4, but large walls and ceilings that catch side light benefit from a Level 5 skim for a perfectly flat result. We recommend the right level for each room during the walkthrough so you only pay for what the job needs.
Do you install moisture-resistant or fire-rated drywall?
